Brailyn Antunez
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Antunez has the kind of athletic base and offensive ingredients that can support an everyday center fielder if the hit tool comes along enough to keep the strikeouts in check. The path is still developmental: he will need to turn present bat speed and game-impact flashes into steadier contact against better pitching, while keeping his reads and routes on track in the outfield. The stronger ACL performance gives him real momentum, but the profile still carries enough swing-and-miss that the floor is not especially safe. If the bat settles near fringe-average and the defense remains playable in center, he has a chance to become a regular regular at a premium position.
