Freddy Contreras
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Contreras projects as a relief pitcher or low-leverage starter at the major league level. His fastball and developing breaking ball should provide a solid bullpen floor. If his changeup develops into an average pitch and he maintains command, he could remain in a starting role. However, undersized frame and limited physical projection suggest relief is more likely path. Significant development needed in secondary pitches to reach higher ceilings.
