Emmanuel Rodriguez
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Rodriguez projects as an everyday corner outfielder, most likely in right field, whose game is driven by on-base ability and above-average power. The realistic ceiling is a middle-of-the-order bat with strong OBP and 25-plus home run potential if health cooperates and the swing-and-miss stays within acceptable limits. His floor is closer to an up-down or second-division corner outfielder if the strikeouts spike against MLB pitching or injuries limit his physical explosiveness and defensive utility. To reach the everyday outcome, he must maintain his disciplined approach while sharpening contact against premium velocity and ensuring his body holds up through full big-league seasons.
