José Rodríguez
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Rodríguez projects as a relief-only arm who can miss bats in bursts but is still fighting the strike-throwing profile that would make him a dependable MLB option. The recent strikeout totals are encouraging, but the walk volume and the limited workload keep the ceiling modest and point more toward a middle-relief path than a leverage role. If the command settles a tick and he sharpens one secondary pitch for put-away use, he could reach a low-end major league bullpen role; if not, he looks more like a depth arm who moves between affiliates and emergency MLB stints.
