Alexander Frias
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Given his age and present production, Frias projects as a bat-first corner outfielder whose path to a big league role will depend on how fully his power and hit tools develop. If the raw pop continues to translate into consistent game damage while he keeps strikeouts in check, he could reach a second-division or bench corner role, but that remains several developmental steps away. The more likely outcome at this stage is a quad-A type who provides organizational depth and occasional impact unless his plate discipline and defensive utility take notable steps forward. Continued refinement of his swing decisions, maintenance of conditioning, and incremental gains in route-running and positioning will be key to pushing him beyond a limited corner profile.
