Brian Sanchez
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Sanchez looks like a bat-first corner outfielder whose value will come from enough contact, a solid on-base foundation, and some secondary speed rather than one loud carrying tool. The age-relative track record is respectable, especially the combination of average-to-above-average batting lines, steady walks, and double-digit steal ability across multiple seasons. The likely development path is that he becomes an offensive-minded left fielder if the bat continues to play against better velocity and better breaking stuff. If the hit tool backs up, the power ceiling is probably not high enough to carry an everyday role.
