Francis Pena
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Pe f1a's best path is as a power reliever whose fastball quality and competitive approach can carry him into a setup role if the command takes a step forward. The recent strikeout totals support real bat-missing ability, but the walk rate and modest efficiency keep the floor tied to middle relief rather than late-inning certainty. If the strike throwing sharpens, he could outgrow a generic relief label; if not, he still has enough stuff to reach the majors in short stints. The ceiling is higher than a typical organizational arm, but the current profile remains dependent on harnessing the zone more consistently.
