Ricki Moneys
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Profiles as a bat-first corner infielder with a realistic future at third base if the body and footwork hold. Ceiling is a power-oriented everyday or second-division regular if he reaches something close to an average hit tool while keeping most of the juice. More conservative outcome is a bench or up-down corner bat who can punish mistakes but runs hot and cold with contact. Early in his career, developmental focus should be on swing efficiency, conditioning and refining his zone control to unlock the power without sacrificing too much contact.
