Adrián Lunar
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Given his age, position and existing bat-to-ball skills, Lunar projects as a developmental catcher with a chance to reach the upper minors and fringe major-league consideration if the glove and game calling mature. The path to value is centered on maintaining elite contact rates while adding at least modest gap power through strength gains and swing refinement. Defensively, he must turn quick pop times and athletic actions into consistent receiving, framing and game-management skills to remain behind the plate. Without a significant power jump, his ceiling looks more like a depth or quad-A catcher, but youth, makeup and position scarcity keep open a wide range of outcomes.
