Angeibel Gomez
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Gomez has the ingredients of a legitimate everyday corner-outfield prospect: a smooth right-handed swing, early evidence of strike-zone judgment, emerging game power, and enough athleticism to contribute on the bases. The conservative projection is an everyday left fielder if the hit tool survives better velocity and his defensive reads become reliable enough for regular duty. His ceiling is higher if the current power and contact combination carries forward while he retains average running ability, but the floor is tied to whether the bat remains impactful enough to compensate for an unproven defensive profile.
