Francisco Renteria
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Renteria has the shape of a potential everyday outfielder if the present offensive foundation continues to hold against better pitching. The combination of age-relative production, extra-base impact, and a meaningful walk total gives him a plausible path to an above-average regular outcome, though the certainty is still limited because all of the evidence is from rookie-ball competition. The most realistic next step is to prove the hit tool and athleticism translate as the velocity and pitch quality improve; if they do, he could settle in as a capable center-field defender with enough offense to stay in the lineup every day.
