Ty Head
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Projects as an athletic, up-the-middle outfielder with a chance to stick in center field and offer solid contributions on both sides of the ball. Offensive ceiling likely settles into an average hit and average power mix if approach and swing decisions continue to improve, supporting everyday value if the glove stays strong. If the bat lags, his defensive ability and speed still provide a path to a second-division or strong bench role, particularly for a club that prioritizes run prevention in center. Continued physical maturation and pro-level coaching could nudge the overall package toward an everyday center fielder, but risk remains tied to bat consistency against upper-level pitching.
