Michael Massey
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Relief prospect with lethal two-pitch fastball-slider combination that generates elite miss rates and movement. Best case scenario features high-leverage bullpen role where he can maximize his carrying fastball and slider while avoiding the command precision required of starters. Durability and health concerns warrant monitoring given back injury history and extended 2025 injured list stint. Conservative floor as competent bullpen arm if strikeout rates remain productive. Ceiling limited to relief role despite some theoretical starter potential.
