Duncan Davitt
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Given the stuff, track record, and age, he projects best as an up-and-down depth arm who can fill in as a spot starter or long reliever when needed. The likely path is continued refinement of his slider and fastball command to carve out a middle-innings or swingman role if he sticks in the majors. Without a carrying plus pitch, he will need to lean on sequencing, strike-throwing, and durability to survive multiple looks from lineups. Realistic outcome is a Quad-A type who shuttles between Triple-A and the big club, with a chance to stabilize as a low-leverage long reliever if command ticks up.
