Izzi projects most realistically as a back-end starter with a chance to inch above that if command and one of the breaking balls take a step forward. The fastball velocity and carry already grade above average, giving him a legitimate foundation to face major league lineups if he can locate more consistently. His sweeper and slider offer multiple looks, and the changeup flashes enough to be a usable third pitch, but all still sit closer to average than plus right now. If he cleans up strike-throwing and tightens the shapes, he could reach a #4 starter outcome; if the command stalls, a multi-inning middle relief role is a viable floor.
