Jesús Made
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Made has the athletic foundation, switch-hitting contact ability, and above-average running speed to remain a legitimate shortstop prospect with an everyday ceiling. The likely path is continued refinement at Double-A and Triple-A, particularly against breaking-ball specialists, while improving defensive consistency and adding controlled strength rather than simply bulk. His floor is tempered by the possibility that the glove settles at fringe-average, which would increase the offensive burden, but a playable shortstop glove paired with average-to-plus offensive tools could produce a second-division regular or better.
